Excerpted from Black Feathers and White Ashes
1. Do you prefer writing with black or blue pen? I prefer blue ink. At the nursing home I had to use black ink...a state requirement on records. In high school my "trademark" was using green ink on everything I could.
2. Do you prefer living in the country or the city? Both have their good points and bad, but while I enjoy visiting the city I don't think I would enjoy living in one. I like quiet and space and privacy and nature.
3. How do you drink your tea or coffee? I drink my tea with Truvia and I don't drink coffee at all.
4. Do you prefer bath or shower? Shower. I think baths are kind of gross and I love a shower beating on tired muscles.
5. Do you prefer reading paper or electronic books? I do both, but I will always, always prefer a real hardbound book in my hands. Plus, one of the things I enjoy collecting is books.
6. Would you ever want to be famous? No. I would not enjoy all that attention and people critiquing every move I made.
7. Are you a restless sleeper? Very much so. I suspect I'm part of why my husband doesn't sleep well. Not all of the reason, but part of it.
8. What is the strangest thing you have ever eaten? Rattlesnake? Ostrich? Kangaroo? Stuffed cow heart? Cow tongue? Chicken hearts and gizzards?
9. Do you like cereal crunchy or soggy? Crunchy! I have no idea how my husband eats his after he leaves it sit for 15 or 20 minutes with the milk on it before he eats it. Yuck!
10. Do you like ice in your drinks? Yes. I don't drink warm drinks very often. I even put ice in my wine.
11. Do you prefer swimming in pools or the ocean? Oh, pools, absolutely! There are sharks in the ocean, therefore I am NOT in the ocean.
12. What can you hear right now? I'm watching another episode of In the Heat of the Night.
13. Where do you feel the safest? Probably here at home.
14. What would you like your legacy to be? Love, kindness, and the joy of Jesus Christ.
15. Do you like spicy food? I used to LOVE it, but I can't handle it as hot as I used to. I stick to mild to medium spicy these days.

Hoo-boy! For a while there I didn't think I was going to be able to make myself do a Thankful Thursday post. Me...the queen of the mile-...
So how many of those strange things (stuffed cow heart???) taste like chicken? LOL.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the rattlesnake, but it's more like fish in that it's a light, flaky meat with lots of bones.
DeleteI used to love spicy but spicy does not love me!
ReplyDeleteI've had ostrich but rattlesnake? That's another line I won't cross.
ReplyDelete:o)

Wishing you a Happy Mother's Day, my friend. We had similar answers. Are you sure we aren't related? grin
ReplyDeleteI like your answer to #6. So many people bitch about "Hollyweird" and how superficial and silly celebrities are, but they never stop to think of how "weird" their lives would look if examined every moment!
ReplyDeleteYour list of weird things....no thank you.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers.
ReplyDeleteThere are some weird foods popping up today.
Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day, Stacy! I enjoyed your Sunday Stealing!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely take the prize for strange items ot eat! Yikes!!!!
ReplyDeleteStuffed cow's heart? Did you know what that was before tasting it? I agree, you take the prize.
ReplyDeleteI can sure attest to the power of a stinging shower on sore muscles. The only bath I'd consider again is one of those therapeutic mud baths. Sad to say, I/we've given away almost all our hardbound books. The library I envision in my dreams just ain't gonna happen.
That's a lot of strange foods you've eaten. Wow.
ReplyDelete#1 is why I always write in black ink. I worked with the mentally handicapped for so many years and we had to use black ink. It just kind of stuck. I do have a friend that sent me all kinds of colors of pens, so those are fun.
ReplyDeleteLORDT! Those things sounds gross for strange foods...*faints*
Ice in wine...now that sounds nice! I do not drink, but I do like wine every so often. Loved your answers! Have a nice week!
