Welcome to Tuesday 4, a collection of 4 questions each week. It is kept up in honor and memory of our dear friend Toni Taddeo, the founder of the meme.
Let's discuss time!
1. Are meals eaten at certain times in your home or are they more spontaneous? It's just Tim and I and he works long hours and in normal times I work, too, so we don't have regular meal times. We eat when we can or when we get hungry.
2. If you attend religious services or club meetings, are they morning, afternoon or evening? Are there advantages/disadvantages to that time? We don't currently have a church, but when we did, we liked Saturday night services because we still got to go to church but we had all day Sunday to relax or do things. It was important to us since Tim often works 6 days a week. My bible study group and anything else I join in tends to be in the evenings, which I'm not crazy about...again because of the work thing...so I limit how much I get involved with.
3.Are you in bed and up in the mornings at a regular time each day? Nope. I don't sleep well lately so I'm up late until I feel tired and then I'm up whenever I wake up since I'm not working right now.
I enjoyed your answers, Stacy. Personally, I thrive better with a schedule and lately, that hasn't been happening. ANYWAYS, to answer your comment you left on my blog; ammo is getting hard to find and our King has a tight control of it. We buy it when we see it. smiles
ReplyDeleteI do fine with a schedule if someone else makes it and keeps me to it. Just not setting for myself. Sigh.
DeleteEven tho' we're both retired, Tom and I generally eat when we get hungry. Some days it may not even occur at the same time! Suspect I'm postponing becoming organized until after the pandemic - lol.
ReplyDeleteYeah...I've seen a saying about if the pandemic has done anything, it's proved that when we all said "I'll do this when I have more time." Time was not the problem. LOL
DeleteHi Stacy. I didn't play along today, just popping over to say hello. I do agree that setting certain days and times to do things helps keep us organized. I should start doing that again myself. Have a great day :)
ReplyDeleteI know I should but have to admit I am soooo unmotivated these days.
DeleteI do enjoy Saturday night service, but our church does not offer that except on holidays. Loved your answers! Have a great Tuesday!

A lot of churches around here have Saturday night services during normal times. They tend to be the contemporary services. I think Saturday services took off because of so much being scheduled on Sundays that pulled people away.
DeleteI enjoyed your answers.
ReplyDeleteWe eat whenever we want.
Sometimes I'm up by 2:30 a.m. because I can't sleep.
Have a great Tuesday my friend.
Yikes! I don't wake up quite that early...though I'm afraid if I go to bed earlier I will be. That's my husband. He's up and down all night long.
DeleteSince I'm retired I catch up on my sleep after I finish my chores.
DeleteOh My, my husband is the same way (up and down all night long).
Enjoyed reading your answers. If I didn't work, I'd probably be similar to your schedule.
ReplyDeleteWe're retired and live life spontaneously! It works for us. Enjoyed my visit today, hope all is well with you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI think a schedule is healthier but its hard to stay on one I find. I wish this stupid lock down would end. Its useless I feel.
ReplyDeleteYou have a busy life for sure. I'm with you evenings - they should be a bit relaxing...
ReplyDeleteI love Sat evening services but many churches around here stopped. I used to enjoy Wednesday evenings, too but now those are for the teen groups.
ReplyDeleteWe used to enjoy Saturday evening services but our new church only has the Sunday morning service. It works for us since we are retired and have lots of time on our hands. We are pretty spontaneous with our meal times, unless something is planned with others. I enjoyed your Tuesday 4.
