Tuesday 4: Extremes

Hang on tight! We are talking about extremes today on the Tuesday 4. Thanks to Annie for the questions!

1. Besides a house or car what is the most expensive thing you've ever bought?  That honor probably goes to our last vacation, a 10-day cruise up the New England coast.

2. What is the coldest temperature you've experienced?  A few years ago it was -30 degrees one morning when I got to work. If I've experienced colder, I'm unaware of it.  The warmest?  About 105 degrees.

3. Can you name a favorite TV/Radio program that you secretly can't get enough of or one that you will watch every chance you get? The Big Bang Theory, The Andy Griffith Show, and I Love Lucy all fall into that catagory.  Perhaps binge watch?  I don't binge those shows. My binges are shows I've never seen before or haven't seen in years. Currently, I'm binge-watching In the Heat of the Night on Prime Video.

4. What is very wrong but sounds good to most people at first?  I don't even know where to start. So many are believing some very wrong stuff these days.

  3. I do love Lucy. And, as a classic film fan, I'm always thrilled to see Lucille Ball in old movies. She kicked around Hollywood for a long time, working regularly but never breaking through. Then, when she turned 40, her life came together. Two things she always wanted -- success and motherhood -- came to her. Her perseverance is just another reason to love Lucy!

  4. Since Tom binge-watches GRIT (bleah) I really need to get into Prime video on my tablet. (We've two televisions, but I like to sit in the same room.)
Wow. I love cold weather, but can't even wrap my mind around 30-below. Conversely, when the mercury hit 121* Father's Day 2016, I knew it was time to get out of Dodge (aka, Phoenix).

  6. I've watched the I Love Lucy show so many times I know the dialog. Clean comedy, something we have very little of these days. I agree with Cathy, a cruise up the NE coast had to be wonderful!!

  7. I bet that cruise was worth every penny though :)

  8. Hi Stacy. That cruise sounds great. So glad you were able to take it before all this COVID craziness. I also love old I Love Lucy and Andy Griffith shows. I don't binge watch anything though. I can stay at one thing that long. Hope you have a great day!

  9. Our vacation to Italy was our big splurge. Those get-aways can cost some jingle. Fun questions for us today!

  10. Big Bang is great. Have you seen Young Sheldon?

I hope you and yours are staying safe and healthy during this difficult time.
