Well, good afternoon! I'm getting around to this late again this week. I did check this morning and the questions weren't posted...or at least I couldn't see them. That happens now and again in the blogosphere. At any rate, the questions are up now so I'm linking up with the Tuesday 4 to talk about...
Dreams (preferably in photo form)
1. My dream house is... a vintage craftsman bungalow with lots of wood, stone, and other natural elements.
2. My dream car is... and always has been the Ford Mustang. I'm not picky. I will accept a vintage one or a new one.
3. My dream vacation is... a tour of this part of the world.
4. My dream life is... I'm just going to stick with mine as is. It's got all the things that are important to me.
Lakeland, FL, is full of Craftsman style homes from the 1920s. Come on down!! :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe to visit, but as long as my family is here, I am, too. It would kill me to move away from the kiddos.
DeleteCraftsman houses are wonderful! They were an answer to the Victorian era as it got a bit over done toward the end! I hope you get to tour as you'd like to. I love a Mustang too!!
ReplyDeleteSweet car! My former hubby had a '65 (actually a 64-and-a-half). All these years later I'm still kicking myself that I talked him into trading it for a Ford Thunderbird.
ReplyDeleteMy parents traded matching ones for a truck and a station wagon. The Thunderbird was definitely a better trade up.
DeleteCraftsman and Colonial houses are some of my favorites! I used to build both on my Sims games. LOL. Is that a 1966 Mustang?? That is my baby! I have always wanted one so badly. A guy up the street from us let one just go to waste. So sad.
ReplyDeleteClose. I searched for 65's so I'm assuming that's what it is. I'm not such a car junkie I can tell them apart.
DeleteI am back! You and I both like the same type of house. There is one just like what you posted about 5 minutes from where I live. The guy is a contractor and he has really fixed it up. My friend had a really new red Mustang, but she traded it in for a Ford Explorer!
ReplyDeleteI took the picture off the internet so it could be the house down the road from you!
DeleteGrinning, love love that house and the car, whistling, lol. Have a beautiful day friend. smiles.
ReplyDeletelove that home but then again I love old homes I had a 67 baby blue mustang that I absolutely loved love your travel dream :) my life is the way I am the happiest now I hope you have great week
ReplyDeleteI probably wouldn't choose baby blue, but that super bright Grabber Blue they have now is pretty sweet. Who am I kidding, I'd take one in any color!
DeleteWe had a brand new red mustang when they first came out, so many years ago. We loved that little car, but when we had our second child it became too little. So we traded it in for something bigger.
ReplyDeleteMy parents had matching white Mustangs when they got married. Dad traded his for a truck and when we got a Collie as a pet the back seat wasn't big enough for the both of us, so it got traded for a station wagon. Ugh. LOL
DeleteStacy,
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your dream house - how pretty! I'm content with my life so I totally getcha on that one.
