It's time to link up with Rebecca Jo @ Knit By God's Hand for Thankful Thursday, my favorite blogging day of the week!
This week I find, as I usually do, there is much to be thankful for.
** a fantastic quiet time with the Lord this morning. Lots of remembering and reflecting on all that He has taught me over the last year. It's been quite a journey.
** living in a country where I am still free to not only worship the Lord as I choose, but also to speak of Him without fear.
** being able to see so many of my prayers being answered.
** the rain, even though it means putting off work on the yard and pool deck again.
** discovering a really cute new show on Pure Flix. If you have the service, check out the series Hope Island. It's about an island off the coast of Washington and the quirky people who make up the community. It centers around a Daniel Cooper, a newly ordained pastor who shows up to revive the church that's been closed up for years and the resistance (and acceptance) he finds there.
** a good meeting with my first client.
** the combo of Ozempic and Adipex seems to be working. Slowly, but it's working. If I'd get motivated to exercise more it'd work even better, I'm sure.
** a cousin-in-law got both of our vehicles inspected with no problems and very quickly.
** fun times with the grands...and a special trip to a Jurassic Adventure to look forward to this Saturday.
** getting organized, using my planner...and actually having things to put in it! LOL It's been a while since this much has been happening.
** my family, friends, and church.
** and all of you!
I am thankful for you, Stacy. I hope you have a beautiful rest of the day, smiles. (raining here too and quite muggy too)
ReplyDeleteQuite a year, indeed! All in His own time.
ReplyDeleteAs ever, I appreciate you prompting me to count my own blessings.
God is so good! I loved reading your list, Stacy! Sounds like a good visit with your fist client and that makes me happy for you! Do keep us posted! xo
ReplyDeleteYour list warms my heart. I feel the same way about learning more about God. I've watched with awe as He answers so many prayers according to His will during this journey of discovery.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm appreciative of you too. So happy your new job is just the right fit.
Blessings. xx
Sounds like things are going well. Glad to hear it! Hope you have a good weekend. See you again soon.
ReplyDeleteGreat list. Glad things are doing well with you.
ReplyDeleteSo what kind of doctor have you gone to for the help with weight loss? is it your family doctor or a specialist? With thse hormones of mine, I am doing EVERYTHING & cant lose a pound. I think I need to see if someone can help.
ReplyDeleteLife is good, and I am so happy for you that things are falling into place. I hope you love your new job and that it will work out well for you in every way. It may take some adjustment after being off so long, but I am sure you will enjoy the new routine and interaction with your clients. May God give you strength and patience and courage for each new adventure.
