Joining in with Annie for the Tuesday 4.
Today's subject is pets
1. What is your pet peeve of the month, year, lifetime?
Oh, bad morning to ask this. Today's pet peeve is my husband's snoring, but only because he was having a rough night and after I woke up at 3:00 I never got back to sleep. Because he literally snored, moaned, grumbled, and yelled non-stop until I gave up and got out of the bed at 6:00. I might be a tad grumpy this morning.
Anyway, for the month and year I have the same peeve. House arrest. I'm trying to make the most of it, but I am bored and sorry, from the numbers (which I check religiously each morning and evening) it doesn't seem to be making a difference.
And the peeve of my lifetime? Rude drivers who put others at risk because wherever they are going in such a hurry is more important than the hurry anyone else is in. You wanna risk your life? Fine. Just don't be risking anyone else's life in your rush.
2. Do you have a pet? Tell us about your pet?
I've always had pets and for most of my life, more than one. Right now, though, the only pet in the house is my little diva dog, Daisy. She's a feisty 10 lb. Toy Poodle with an endless bark. I bought her on sight at a garage sale. She's annoying and bossy, but she loves me and I love her.
3. What are some pet projects in your life?
I've wracked my brain...I seem to be between pet projects at the moment. I can't think of one that I'm involved with right now.
4. Do you feed the birds or other animals in the wild?
I have fed the birds in the past, but don't have any feeders right now. I am not in favor of feeding other wildlife.

"House arrest" (grin) thank you for coming on board, (roaring laughter).
ReplyDeleteAre you sure our husbands aren't related (or we're not?)--same here--I ended up kicking him out to the 3rd bedroom. ENOUGH. This stress living under these NY Executive Orders is just affecting us badly. Just keeping it real. The stress is real, not imaginable.
Keeping in prayer, Stacy and sending you lots of hugs. (oh geesh, forgot about the 6 foot rule, rolling eyes).grin
Bahahahahaha!
DeleteGet him a cPap. It's made our house a lot quieter as we both have one now. lol
ReplyDeleteHe went through the sleep study and didn't think it helped him at all so won't go back. Sigh.
DeleteYou bought your dog at a garage sale? That's wonderful! I imagine that she could have had a much worse fate with a far less responsible owner than you. (My mom used to have a garage sale every spring, and oh my! Some of the people who showed up would not make good pet parents!)
ReplyDeleteI did and she is actually the second dog I bought at a garage sale. When my son was 2 (so over 30 years ago!) we stopped at a sale and the owner's Shetland Sheepdog followed him everywhere and would not leave him alone. Upon seeing this the owner told us she was going to be selling the house and going back to school and needed to find homes for her 2 dogs. She offered us payments on the dog (he was a lot of money for us at the time and had a very good pedigree). We decided to do it and he was our son's buddy from then on.
DeleteRude drivers? Oooooh, don't get me started. Guess I didn't read the question correctly, on account I only shared the first thing that popped in my head. Given her start in life, methinks Daisy deserves to be a diva!
ReplyDeleteBrother did you ever kick up a few more pet peeves for me.. Yep, I get about 3-4 hours of sleep a night due to my noisy nubby, but he is so good to me I try not to complain! But those other drivers whew! They do make my skin crawl sometimes!
ReplyDeleteJoe and I both used to snore but have quieted down with our weight loss. Our rule was to not wake up the snorer but to move to another room for more peace & quiet. I will say it was usually me being awakened by his snoring so I was the one who played musical beds and left for the guest room. I didn't see the Tuesday 4 in time so did my Whimsical Wednesday on Tuesday instead (as you know). Not sure how I missed it!
ReplyDeleteHe needs a cpap. I had sleep study.. 1 night in their bed and I only slept 20 minutes cuz my spine was so bad, but in those 20 minutes I stopped breathing 9 times.. now I have a cpap. I don't snore I just stop breathing during the night. Now, with the Cpap I never wake up tired, I never feel tired in the afternoons and my heart is a happy camper. Snoring is dangerous. Drag him in there LOL.
ReplyDeleteI do miss my friends, but we all think the staying sheltered is the safest thing for now. I am saving money by not being out shopping. I think the worse thing for me is eating too much and not getting enough exercise. I plan to go walking today now that the weather is warming up. Sorry about the snoring issue, that was my pet peeve for years. Different rooms took care of that problem and made us both happy since we have opposite sleep schedules.
ReplyDeleteHi Stacy - I had several Toy Poodles as pets when I was a child. I guess Toy Poodles is another thing you and I have in common! Fun post. I am actually enjoying having more time at home with my husband. I am staying super busy, but then I am still working from home. Hope you have a good week. See you again soon!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteMy sweet pup is a yorkiepoo.
I had to smile when you wrote about the barking.
Because my Mocha is a barker!
But also a snuggler!
Stay safe!
I really enjoyed your answers today.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of buying a pet at
a garage sale.
She will have a caring owner.
