Update on the Update
I'm back from meeting my father for the first time. An update will be coming, but I've run into a bit of a snag. I wanted really nice pictures so I took my camera rather than using my phone. I have several nice photos, but Photos in Windows 10 won't upload from the SD card. I tried Microsoft's "help" feature. No help there. There are over 150,000 comments about the same thing and ZERO answers from Microsoft. Maybe tomorrow. If I go print the photos out at Walmart maybe I can scan them or something.

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your post tomorrow and hope you can get the photos figured out!! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteTechnology can be so very frustrating. I hope your visit went well.
ReplyDeleteGood luck at Walmart--they are not allowing anyone to print photos from the kisosk due to Covid...what that has to do with Covid is beyond me. s igh
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I saw people using ours last week or the week before.
Deletecant wait to hear all about it & see pics!!!
ReplyDeleteI still have Google's old Picasso on my computer and have been using that to import photos as a work-around to the photo issue with Windows. You might also try import with a cable to the phone instead of using the card, that helped a couple of times. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I do have a port. Not sure I have a cable for the camera, though. Now I'm going to have to tear the house up looking for that! LOL Thanks for the advice!
DeleteI meant a cable from the camera to the computer. Sorry about that. They seem to be having issues with that photo app.
ReplyDeleteFor sure. I saw over 150K complaints and no answers from Microsoft at all. Sigh.
DeleteHi Stacy, sorry about the photo problems. I found that I could not upload pictures from my IPhone to my laptop. So then I have to email them to myself. Then I can save them from my computer. It is tedious. I don't have a problem with my SD card and I have Windows too.
