Sunday Stealing: A to Z

Taken from
 Ned the Duck

A - Annoyance:  All things political.

B - Bestest Friend[s]:
  Fran

C - Car:  What I have...Toyota Camry. What I'd like to have...Ford Mustang.

D - Day or night:  Day

E- Easiest person to talk to?:  Marie from my Bible study group.

F - Favorite Month:
  October or November

G - Gummy Bears or Worms:
  Neither

H - Hair Color:  Medium brown with blonde streaks to help hide the gray.

I - Ice Cream:  Chocolate

J - Jewelry:
Rings and earrings. I don't wear much beyond that.

K - Kindergarten:  1969, I had chronic bronchitis the whole year and missed the last 3 days because I got mumps.

L - Longest Car Ride:  Coming home to PA after spending Thanksgiving with Tim's sister and her family in Alabama. Megan was bawling because she met a guy she liked and all she could talk about was moving there, which made me bawl because I was going through the change and bawling all the time, anyway. Tim did anything and everything he could to be annoying. On purpose. It was 950+ miles of hell.

M - Most missed person:  My grandmother.

N - Number of Siblings:
Until 2019, none. After that, 3...thanks to being found by my half-siblings and my biological father.

O - One regret:  Not saving more money.

P- Part of your appearance you like least?:  The fat part.

Q- Quote:  If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

R - Reality TV Show:  I don't really watch reality TV, just random episodes here and there.

S - Shoe:  I swear by Vionic shoes because of all the pain I have in my feet. I can also get by with Merrell clogs if they have the Q-form insole.

T - Time you woke up:
I'm doing this on Saturday evening, so 4:30 a.m. I didn't have to and I didn't want to. I just did.

U - Unpredictable?:  Somewhat, but not like I used to be.

V - Vegetable you hate:
  Eggplant

W- Worst Habits:
Procrastination and biting my nails when stressed.

X - X-Rays:  Lots on my teeth; several of my feet, knee, and hip; a couple of my back.

Y - Year you were born:  196?...can't give the scammers ammo to work with.

Z - Zoom:  My Bible study group meets via Zoom when the weather is bad or when the Covid restrictions increase. We also have 3 or 4 people who always attend that way because they don't live in the area.

Thanks to Bev for the questions. Join the fun here.

  2. I agree on number 1! I like chocolate ice cream too, but can't eat chocolate very often because of acid reflux. I wish my Bible study group would meet by Zoom. Covid is really bad over here and so we are not meeting. So nice that you met your bio dad and family! Hope they are doing well during this Covid mess.

    1. I guess the Zoom study group meetings are better than nothing, but it can get really annoying with the sound breaking up, delays in signal, just a million little glitches. Yes, as far as I know my dad and half siblings are all healthy and well.

  3. I enjoyed reading your answers. That trip home from AL must have been painful...wonder whatever happened to the boy in AL that your daughter "fell in love with"? Funny how many boys I thought were so cute back then that turned out not so cute in their old age. I am thankful for the one I got!! Also, do you have a post written about when or how your "half siblings" and biological father found you? I wasn't following you then, so never have heard the story if you have shared it. Also, I know you are friends with "enthusiastically Dawn". I didn't know if you saw on FB that her daughter passed away last week? I don't know the particulars, but it is very sad. Her funeral was yesterday. Please keep Dawn and her hubby in your prayers if you haven't already learned about this. I hope you have a blessed Sunday.

    1. Oh, this breaks my heart. I did not know. I just flew over to FB to post my condolences. So young... Was it covid? I think I did share the story of finding/being found by my family. I'll have to go look for it. If I didn't share it all in one place I'll email or message you with the tale.

  5. pssssssssssssssss your not fat, we are pleasantly plump (and I say we because I am too, grin). ANYWAYS---yeah car trips have the tendency to do that, sigh.

Have a great day friend. smiles

  6. I'm with you on being annoyed by politics. Don't forget - all politicians are psychopaths.

    :o)

  8. Greta answer for your quote! I try to do that. I also do not care much for listening to politics...at least other people's opinions. I have my own and will not change my mind. Loved your answers. Have a nice day!

    1. Yeah, that was my dad's number one rule. I had it drummed into my head growing up.

  9. Oh, good point about guarding your personally-identifiable info. I've never worn much jewelry; and, in fact, only wear my rings when I'm going out. I wonder if Vionics would help with my low back/hip issues. I'll have to research!

    1. I never thought about it, but all those goofy quizzes like this on Facebook are great ways for hackers/scammers to rake in personal info. The Vionics might help. They are orthopedic. I like them because they also look good. They're expensive, but they make good looking boots, heels, sandals, everything! In the summer I live in their flip-flops...cute, comfy and they last a long time. I've got one pair that is going to be 3 years old and I'm still wearing them.

don't you wish people would turn to God more than conspiracy theories? sorry if that's political, I think of it as a humanity problem

    1. I do wish...and pray every day. It is definitely a problem with us as a species.

  12. I went on a trip like that once. I was 11 and my brother was 8--we were in a "I hate you" stage, and my Mom went off to German for a month. Dad took us on a trip up and down the east coast while he hunted for new job. We fought so viciously that he put us in the back of the El Camino (it had a camper shell) and wouldn't let us get back in the front until we were quiet. We stayed in the back the whole trip as I recall, fighting. Ugggg. Glad we are friends now, lol.

    1. It was my dad's number one rule, Terri. I tried to drum it into my kids, too, but times have changed. They will both say what's on their minds. The big difference is that Megan will sometimes worry about hurting someone's feelings while Matt never does.

  14. Chocolate is the Best! Now if only meat came in that flavor.
Reality TV is too much like real life. For me, being entertained means being able to escape reality! ;o) I didn't like long trips in a car, either. But it's different in an RV.
    A fun read, Stacy.

  16. Is it okay if your car ride made me smile? I'm already casting it for the Netflix sitcom. Don't worry, you'll get a "created by" credit.
