1. Do you have a favorite movie to recommend? Everybody knows Dirty Dancing is my favorite indulgent, girly movie, but there are lots of movies I enjoy watching over and over...Hope Floats, The Great Outdoors, Hairspray (the one with John Travolta as Mama), Grease, While You Were Sleeping, Independence Day, Grumpy Old Men, Second Hand Lions, Disney's Lion King and Moana...
2. Do you have a schedule for your day or do you wing it? Other than always starting the day with some quiet time to read the Word and pray, I tend to operate on a wing and a prayer. Since I'm starting to get back to work and my new job requires me to create my own schedule, I'm really trying to be more intentional and organized. Is it working? Eh, it's a work in progress.
3. What are you eating/cooking lately? Nothing all that special. We're doing a lot of grilling and we eat a lot of fruits and veggies in the summer, lots of salads, that sort of thing.
4. Do you surf on your computer? Tell us about it, won't you? I do surf. Um, I don't know what to tell you. It just starts with me having a question about something (could be ANYTHING). I usually start with a Google search, start clicking on those results, click out on links in those sites, and so on. Interesting to note that surfing is often easier than it used to be because of our gadgets listening to us. Things often pop up without me ever having to go look for them. Welcome to Orwell's 1984 where Big Brother is always watching, listening, and tracking!
I have noticed that as well; big brother is always watching, listening and tracking. I hope you have a beautiful day, friend.
ReplyDeleteYep, and he's watching when we don't even know he's watching.
DeleteFun answers and yes, I've noticed that big brother thing too.
ReplyDelete1984 is right. I think more than we realize. I enjoyed your answers.
ReplyDeleteMay all your days be happy ones.
Blessings. xx
After watching that documentary on Netflix about how social media tracks us and listens, I believe you are right. They are keeping track in ways we can't even imagine yet.
DeleteHi Stacy. Yes, it seems like Big Tech always seems to know what we are doing. Very unsettling. I hope your week is going well. See you again soon.
ReplyDeleteYep. Agree with everyone! Hope you are having a nice week. Stormy here yesterday. Cooler today, so I am going to make some pasta sauce in the slow cooker.
ReplyDeleteGreat answers and we are grilling too.
ReplyDeleteWhat freaks me out about things popping up, is I will be thinking something...not even say anything about it and something will pop up about it. I can go down rabbit holes with google. I can search for a long time...one thing leads to another. Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

We've had that happen, too. I'm really hoping they are just getting good at predicting my likes rather than they are reading my mind!
DeleteWhile I'm no longer working I've (reluctantly) discovered, routine is my friend. It's not easy! I love 'Grumpy Old Men', too. This makes me wonder, have you seen Morgan Freeman's 'Going in Style'? Best comedy I've seen in years.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I have seen that one or not. I'll have to look it up.
DeleteAfter I typed this I Googled the trailer and began giggling and snorting all over again.
ReplyDeleteI love all those movies too but haven't seen The Great Outdoors. Need to look that one up! Big yes to 1984. Scary stuff then and worse now that we are actually living most of it. I enjoyed your answers!
ReplyDeleteScarier now, for sure. Who really thought back then that all that stuff would really happen? Not me.
DeleteBig Brother is always watching! LOL! Every time I go searching something online, the next thing I know it's trending in my Facebook feed. Hmm.
