I am...
Reading...finally went back to The Year of Living Biblically. It is actually pretty interesting and I'm learning some things I didn't know about the Jewish faith (mostly orthodox).
Watching...America's Got Talent on Demand. There are some truly amazing stories this year and some fantastic talent and we're only in the auditions.
Listening to...squirrels on the roof. I don't know what they are doing up there, but they are doing a lot of it.
Loving...the good stories that are coming out of the protests and riots. There are some, you know.
Thinking...about Tim. I dropped him off for a colonoscopy and an endoscopy at 6:00 this morning. I'm not allowed to go in with him because of Covid-19. They are supposed to call when he is ready to come home. I hope he remembered to tell them that he nearly flat-lined the last time he was put under.
Feeling...pain. The tooth I broke about two days into the stay-at-home order decided to start hurting over the weekend. It just couldn't wait till I see the dentist tomorrow.
Celebrating...our county moving to the green phase of reopening. It hasn't changed much, but you can dine inside restaurants (if you can get a seat because 50% capacity is the rule) and get a haircut! My daughter and I went looking for birthday decorations for Leah's birthday party next month and we had lunch at Red Lobster. It felt liberating and weird all at the same time.
Weather...hot and humid, but mild compared to tomorrow's predicted 88 (which means we'll probably top 90).
Enjoying...sitting on the deck early in the morning communing with nature.
A quote I want to share...

Hoo-boy! For a while there I didn't think I was going to be able to make myself do a Thankful Thursday post. Me...the queen of the mile-...
Keeping Tim in prayer (and you).
ReplyDeleteSuppose to be a hot and humid next couple of days here, yesterday was so nice. Haircuts are allowed; no shampooing, no color, just a cut. No in dining here. You know, the King Cuomo still has to remain in control, sigh.
Hi Stacy. I hope you can get your tooth taken care of and that Tim's procedure goes well. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI was going to watch this years AGT but I just wasn't in the mood for the new judge - I think she's a little overkill some times & my nerves are frayed anyways lately :) LOL
ReplyDeletecant wait to see what you think of the book
Also - (hit publish too soon) - my brother had to have that & my SIL had to sit in the parking lot the entire time. His appt was at 7am so luckily he was first so he was in & out in like 1.5 hours. ... I'm sure they'll keep a close eye on Tim.
DeleteLove the quote. Truth! Sure hope Tim is okay!! Joe and I both have teeth that need to be pulled. It's time to call for an appointment before my temporary filling falls out and starts hurting. Do let us know that Tim is okay!
ReplyDeletePrayers for an A-OK from Tim's doc! I agree about the good news stories coming to light; I'm constantly needing reminded. Not sure if you heard about that manager of underground Atlanta who was nearly beaten to death? He's the former hubby of one of my Bible study ladies. We were talking about that in study just this morning; and how Craig may have to hire an attorney on account his bosses aren't communicating.
ReplyDeleteLove the quote at the end, and I am trying really hard to stay away from those types of people. Sometimes they just find me anyway, but I am learning to control my tongue. Not easy. Praying your Tim came through okay and is home by now safe and sound. Have a blessed day!
