My bible study group met tonight, but we didn't have class. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and an evening of fellowship and reunion. The reunion being with a young woman and her 4 children that used to be part of the group until she remarried and moved away. It was wonderful to see them...the kids are so grown up and they remembered us. The daughter, who is as tall as me now, and a lovely young woman grabbed hold and hugged me tight, crying on my shoulder that she had missed me so much. It was such a happy night!

That is so sweet that you were able to meet up with this family. Kids grow fast anyway but when you don't see them for awhile, it really makes a difference!
ReplyDeleteThat is nice that you met with your group. Do you wear mask? Everyone wears mask here because they have to but I do feel safer. Our numbers are getting better. I am planning on going away with my lifegroup girls in a few weeks. I miss them and decided to go. Several of them have been meeting up before this.
ReplyDeleteNo, we don't wear masks, but you should do what you are comfortable with. We're a small group, more like family and we're comfortable with each other.
DeleteAWWW...what a great post, Stacy. smiles
