Thankful Thursday on Friday

Good morning! I'm running and linking up to Rebecca Jo's Thankful Thursday a day late this week. Yesterday just got busy and I never had a chance to sit down and get a post written. Better late than never, right?

This week, I am thankful...

...for the way things went on Wednesday when I turned in all my paperwork for the new job.

I found out they are already holding 5-6 clients for my start. Yay!

And talk about favor, when they gave me the loooonnnng list of online trainings and certifications I have to do next, I found out I don't have to do the biggest, badest and longest of them because I already have that one from my days driving the bus. I will have to go through it again next year, but it shaves 4 hours off my training time this year!

...Tim got his second dose of the Moderna vaccine on Wednesday. He felt a little off yesterday, but is fine today other than a sore arm.

...the jury is still out on how the Ozempic is working, but I don't feel like I did on Monday. I gave myself the first injection on Sunday and felt fine. Monday it was like I was slogging through Jell-O. It was a huge effort to do anything and all I wanted to do was sleep. Tuesday was a better. Wednesday I was back to normal. It it was from the Ozempic I'm glad it's over and praying it won't be like that every week. I'm just thankful to be back to normal.

...Megan asked me to be her accountability partner for weight loss. We weighed in together on Monday. She really needs this and I'm sure it won't hurt me, either.

...the warm weather is coming back! Finally!

...as I always am, for each one of you.

Have yourselves a blessed, safe, and happy weekend!

  2. What does the Ozempic do? Good that you and Megan will accountability partners. So when do you start your job?

  3. How neat, you've already got clients! I'll bet they're anxious to meet you -- and you, them. Wish I had an 'accountability' partner. I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to rationalizing my poor habits.

  4. It's always exciting starting a new job. I hope the thrill never goes away so it won't feel like work.
I hope the Ozempic works as it should.
